Gates Pass Sky
I'd hoped to get some Milky Way shots while in Tucson, driving over the western mountains to get away from the city lights. But, the moon was half full and very bright (the cactus are lit by it!), the winds were high for 2 days (putting much dust in the air) and November just isn't ideal Milky Way time, it turns out. So, just a patch of "brighter" was the best I could manage. Still, I loved the relatively bright moonlit ground beneath more stars than I'd ever get to see at home!
